3D Printing VirtualWorkshop
Does this sound like you?
“I'm still working on my 3D printing certificate, and I'm not quite sure how to start using the 3D printer with my students. Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated!”
“I would love some help with 3D printing! I have 2 to set up and I am thinking of doing a club after school!”
“Please tell me about 3D printing with kiddos! I have one printer and some 3Doodler pens. I teach 4K-8th grade one hour each week. I am familiar with Tinkercad, but if you have other ideas, that would be helpful.”
What about this….?
“I do 3D printing with my 4th and 5th graders. I would love to incorporate it with my 3rd graders. I'd love any ideas you can share!”
“I want to start 3D printing with my students! I actually had a hard time last year because we didn't have devices. This year, we have iPads. We already have a 3D printer, so now I just need to find some lessons or a program that is easy for us to use.”
“I have three 3D printers and have not been able to work it into my schedule so that my students can design and print a project. Mostly because I don't know how to teach it. I NEED this!”
What if I told you that 3d printing is easier than you think?
In fact, you might even start to love 3D printing more than the other lessons you teach throughout the year!
This is a tool you can teach to all grade-levels, K-5, since there are always new things to learn, and it's minimal prep work.
You'll love what I share inside this workshop and how you can apply these tips into your annual curriculum.

Meet your host, Naomi Meredith
I'm a former classroom teacher turned K-5 STEM teacher with over a decade of experience in the classroom, along with a M.Ed. in STEM Leadership and STEM Certificate.
I'm currently a small business owner where I create my own custom, K-5 STEM curriculum and teach daily STEM programs to elementary students in my community. One of them is currently 3D printing!
I felt the pressure stepping into a K-5 STEM role feeling like I had to know everything and use every tool with students.
Including 3D printing. 😝
Mind you, we had limited training or many of the lessons that were shared weren’t even standards-based anyway or promoted high-level learning that it was kind of pointless.
So, I decided to dive right into 3D printing with all of my students, K-5, and found out I LOVED it!
Bonus: your room stays clean during these lessons! Win!
I even wrote my own curriculum to go with it, and continuing to try new lessons!
I'm so excited to share with you what works for me time and time again and you'll see why I love teaching 3D printing to elementary students so much!
